Hero Splendor Plus is one of those bikes that almost every Indian rider knows. It has been popular for years because of its simple design, good mileage and low running cost. Now, many buyers are looking forward to the Hero Splendor Plus 2027, especially to see whether Hero MotoCorp will give the bike a fresh look and more modern features.
Hero Splendor Plus 2027 New look
Biggest change that buyers would like to see is the design. The current Splendor Plus still follows the traditional commuter-bike styling with a simple body, round headlamp and a comfortable single-seat setup. Hero could give the motorcycle a slightly sharper and more modern appearance without moving too far away from the original Splendor identity. A redesigned headlamp, updated side panels, fresh graphics and new colour options could make the bike look more attractive.
Expected Features
2027 Splendor Plus could receive more useful features rather than unnecessary technology. A better instrument cluster would be one of the most welcome updates.
Depending on the variant, we could see features such as:
- Updated digital or semi-digital instrument cluster
- Real-time mileage indicator
- Mobile charging port
- LED position light
- i3S stop-start technology
- Side-stand engine cut-off
- Tubeless tyres
- Improved seat comfort
- Updated graphics and colours
Some of these features are already available on the present Splendor Plus range, so Hero may simply expand them to more variants in the future.
Engine and Performance
Current Splendor Plus uses a 97.2cc, single-cylinder petrol engine with a 4-speed gearbox. Hero lists 5.9 kW of maximum power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. For the 2027 model, a major engine change may not be necessary. The Splendor is mainly designed for daily commuting, where smooth performance and fuel economy matter more than high-speed performance.
Hero Splendor Plus 2027 Mileage
Hero currently claims around 70 kmpl with E20 fuel for the Splendor Plus. Real-world mileage can be lower depending on traffic, road conditions, riding style, load and maintenance. For normal daily riding, buyers should not expect the exact claimed figure in every situation. A practical mileage of around 60–65 kmpl can be a more realistic expectation in many riding conditions, although actual results will vary.
Expected Price
Price will be another important factor. As of August 2026, the standard Hero Splendor Plus is listed at roughly ₹77,777 to ₹80,531 ex-showroom, depending on the variant and market. If Hero launches a 2027 model with small updates, the price could increase slightly. Expected Hero Splendor Plus 2027 price: around ₹80,000–₹85,000 ex-showroom.
Flex-Fuel Technology
One interesting development is Hero’s move towards flex-fuel motorcycles. In June 2026, Hero MotoCorp unveiled a Flex Fuel-ready Splendor+ that can run on ethanol blends from E20 to E85. The company said the motorcycle would first be introduced in Delhi and selected regions of Maharashtra before a wider rollout.
